Changing of the Guard outside Buckingham Palace

What famous ceremony takes place outside Buckingham palace most days?

Answer:

That would be the Changing of the Guard.
Buckingham Palace is one of the world's most famous landmarks and it has been home to the English Royal Family since 1837.

The sovereign is protected by soldiers of the Household Division, which consists of The Household Cavalry Regiment (The Life Guards and The Blues and Royals), The Grenadier Guards, The Coldstream Guards, The Scots Guards, The Irish Guards and The Welsh Guards.

These are experienced soldiers who have fought in most major conflicts around the world.

The changing of the Guard ceremony is very colourful and popular with visitors to London. It takes place at 11.30am on most days during the summer and selected days during the winter months.
