(Canada)

Flying into Gatwick or Heathrow in June from Canada. How do I get to Walsall or Wolverhampton?

Answer:

From London's airports, you can either go by train or travel by coach. Depending on traffic and connections, you should plan in 3-4 hours for the journey.

By Train
The Heathrow Express will take you to Paddington Station, from where you take the Underground to Euston Station. Take a train to Birmingham and change to Walsall. Journey time from Heathrow to Walsall is approximately 3 1/2 hours.

From Gatwick, you'd take the Gatwick Express to London Victoria, the Underground to Euston and the train to Walsall as described above.

From London Euston, trains go directly to Wolverhampton.

You can check out tickets, trains and prices on the Trainline website.

By Coach
Going by coach can be cheaper, but usually takes a little longer.
From Heathrow, you can take a coach to Birmingham and then change for a coach to Walsall. The journey time here would be just over 4 hours.

There are coaches travelling direct between Heathrow and Wolverhampton, getting you there in about 3 1/2 hours.

Similarly from Gatwick Airport. National Express coaches go directly to Wolverhampton. For Walsall, you need to change at Birmingham.

You can check out the National Express website for Cheap Coach Travel, Train Fares, Bus tickets & Airport Transfers
