If you've ever wanted to stay in a romantic folly, here's your chance! Dating back to 1758, this Grade II* listed Gothic folly is one of a kind amongst all the wonderful holiday cottages in Derbyshire. It was designed by Robert Adam for the first Lord Scarsdale as the same time as Kedleston Hall.

The Victorians, never ones to let a good thing go to waste, converted the folly into a game keepers cottage. It now has its own lawned garden, and stands detached amidst the estate's romantic woods and farmland.

With decorated Gothic tracery windows, columns, parapets detailed with arrowslits, shields, quatre-foils and pinnacles it forms a unique holiday retreat. And all of that without missing out on the mod cons.
