Night Birds in Regency England?

Looking for information as to what nightbirds were common in the Regency England period of 1811. I have located a plethora of information regarding birds and wildlife of England, but no dates to determine what flourished in the 1800's. I would appreciate some directions. Thank you.

Comment from Sue:

An intriguing question, but one to which I must confess complete ignorance. So far, my historical studies have not included wild birds.

A good starting point for your investigation would be the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds, who hold extensive records on British birds.

And I'm hoping very much that other Essentially England readers have the information you seek and can help out.
