Food is a very important part of Essentially England. I love to cook and I love finding and exploring old recipes and local ingredients. When I realised how many traditional English recipes and food articles the site had already accumulated, I was frankly amazed. I was hoping to turn the food and recipes section into something resembling a treasure trove for all cooking enthusiasts and lovers of English food and it looks as if we're on the way to do just that.
