The Oswestry Food & Drink Festival started in 2007 as an idea - wouldn't it be good if we could bring the marvellous local food & drink producers right into the centre of the town for everyone to enjoy.
And that's what we did. :) So this is our Third Year, and you can see a slideshow of previous years here.
Unlike other festivals who squirrel themselves away in stately gardens or huge marquees, we like to bring the very best in meat, veg, cheese, fish, beer, liqueurs, chocolate, decadent puddings, cakes...and everything else, right into the heart of the town.
Entry is FREE...just come along and enjoy yourselves.
This year we also have the delightful addition of classical music from Bellaria singing throughout the festival.
Can't wait!
If you live nearby, or fancy a lovely family day out, you are more than welcome. Saturday is a thriving festival day with Sunday a gentler affair, thinking promenading LOL! There's a now infamous proper old-fashioned Tea Dance with cakes and pinnies, not to mention salsa dancing in the square an a mad marching band.
We do things differently in Oswestry!
