Travelling from London to Edinburgh

I want to take the train from London to Edinburgh. From where should I start in London? I am arrivng by plane at LHR.

Answer

London Heathrow, on the south-west outskirts of London, is England's busiest airport and many overseas visitors arrive here.

You can travel from Heathrow to other areas of the country using a National Express coach right from outside the terminals.

Alternatively, take the tube into London and take the train to Edinburgh from either London King's Cross or London Euston stations. You can buy tickets online from The Trainline or directly at the station. Tickets bought online are often cheaper.
